Terminix has been disinfecting and sanitizing local businesses and schools the last couple of weeks. When walking around town, you may have seen these signs saying disinfected and sanitized by Terminix. The businesses the Terminix team has been working on include restaurants, office buildings, retail shops, gyms and many more. “Our main goal is to get restaurants back, we want to get businesses back,” said Joe Martin with Terminix.
Even though cleaning and disinfecting might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you hear Terminix, we have been in the business since just after Hurricane Katrina. Keep in mind, disinfecting and sanitizing may be part of the new normal as we are slowly starting to reopen our economy. Terminix New Orleans is here to help you to keep your customers and employees safe and healthy.
How Terminix Disinfects & Sanitizes
When entering your business, our employees will wear personal protective equipment such as a respirator, goggles, shoe covers, disposable cloths and waste bags with ties. We have EPA N-List approved products for disinfecting and sanitizing. Our products are safe once they dry in about 10 minutes and they are very effective. When we disinfect an area, we are using chemicals to kill germs that may have been on the surface. It is recommended to disinfect frequently used areas such as countertops, chairs, handrails, phones, gym equipment, drinking fountains and other surfaces we touch often. We know how to effectively disinfect and sanitize offices, hotels, medical facilities, homes, restaurants and kitchen as well as vehicles. When our job is done, we disinfect our trucks, tools, and office. Furthermore, our technicians and office staff have temperature checked every morning.
